Jessica Moore

Violin Instructor

Jessica has played the violin for 6 years.  She also plays saxophone, piano, drums and ukulele.  Along with high school orchestra and band, she's also in a rock n roll band named Danger Zone, and a county rock band named Blue Dirt Road.  When she's not playing music, she keeps busy playing basketball and showing and training her horses.  She is very excited to share her love of music with her students, and can't wait to show how much FUN it is to play an instrument!

Cherie Levin

Violin, Viola, Cello Instructor

Cherie has been a violin player since childhood. She began teaching violin lessons right after graduating from high school and has continued on for over 50 years!

While in high school she began studying violin at MacPhail Center for Music under the tutelage of Mr. Anthony Gilombardo who had previously been a member of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and at that time was a member of the Minneapolis Symphony (Minnesota Orchestra). From him she learned both technique and pedagogy.

She has studied violin and music at the University of Minnesota and Bethel University. Cherie has taught violin, viola, and first year cello in her home and in various music schools.

She has played in community orchestras in Minnesota, Michigan, and Wyoming. She has also played in worship leading groups in various churches, mission teams, home groups, and other small group settings.

While studying at the university, she found she  was not comfortable in a classroom setting, but conversely, loved spending time and pouring into students one on one. That continues until today as she finds great fulfillment in helping students (children, youth, and adults) grow in knowledge and appreciation of music and knowing they can make music themselves.
